Peter Bos (1961) has graduated his Dutch Master Dental Technician’s Education in 1985.
In 1987 he began his technical & commercial career at Elephant Industries, which went over in Dentsply Sirona Benelux B.V.
At first Peter was mainly engaged with material research and -behavior of dental materials. He stood at the base of the development and perfection of many dental alloys as well as (fused) ceramic systems.
Because of worldwide sales of the Elephant portfolio Peter traveled to the farthest corners of our globe to perform at lectures, dental shows and by giving (product) courses.
All together Peter can boast a wide dental- and material technical experience, which he now will employ for you by giving an interesting view of the current market development.

Steve is a registered dental technician with over 24 years laboratory experience, and now runs a completely digital laboratory along with his skilled team.
Steve is passionate about introducing the latest technologies and CAD/CAM solutions, particularly within the field of implant restorations where he is involved in many development programmes and Beta testing trials. Steve presents on behalf of various companies and associations on the solutions that CAD/CAM and digital workflows allow both the technical and surgical team to deliver effective, efficient and consistent results on behalf of their patients.
CAD/CAM is simply a tool, and very easy to adopt into our workflows. The really important factor is always the human one, and the team members understanding of the appropriate use, and skills needed to use them effectively.

Dr Marcus Dagnelid received his dental degree in 2003 from the faculty of Odontology, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He subsequently started working in his private clinic with focus on prosthetic treatment and implantology.
The team at the clinic has worked for many years in close collaboration with implants companies, with a high focus on surgical- and prosthetic protocols.
Marcus is also the CEO and owner of Dagnelid Clinic and Falkenberg Clinic with a state-of-the-art conference and education centre called SAACD, Swedish Academy For Advanced Clinical Dentistry. The clinics hosts more than 3000 square metres of dentistry with lecture rooms and live video transferring.
The main interest in implantology and prosthetic work has also led to Marcus lecturing in the all-ceramic field, with focus on high end aesthetics. In 2010 he received his postgraduate degree as a specialist in prosthetic dentistry at the faculty of Odontology, Malmö University.
Dr Dagnelid lectures extensively on national- and international level and since more than 6 years he has worked in very close collaboration together with Dentsply Implants, Astra Tech Implant System. This includes in particular product testing- and development such as Atlantis Abutment System, Profile Implants, Facilitate Guided Surgery, New Generation ASTRA TECH Implant System EV and corresponding projects (Immediate Smile), SmartFix and Digital Implant Protocols. He also lectures on practice- and business management in dentistry. 

Tim Doswell

Dr. Doswell graduated with Honours at Leeds University in 1996 and earned an Advanced Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2010.
After 10 years in General Dental Practice, he now works exclusively in the field of Dental Implantology, in a Private Referral Practice in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
As well as taking referrals from across the North of England, he is a Clinical Coach for DentsplySirona and has lectured across the UK on all Atlantis solutions, including Atlantis Abutments, ISUS bars, Conus Atlantis and Custombase as well as other DentsplySirona solutions such as the new Smartfix concept.

Ronald Jonkman received his dental degree at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (1986). After that he went to the former Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen, now Radboud Universiteit, where he earned his PhD in 1992. From 1994 till 1998 he was staff member at the department of Orthodontics at the Universität Hamburg (UKE). Since 1998 is working in his private office. Furthermore he was unit leader of the orthodontic department at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam (2015-2017). Since 2018 he is chairman and head of the department of orthodontics the Academic Center for Dentistry in Amsterdam (ACTA).

Bart Van Meerbeek studeerde af als tandarts aan de KU Leuven in 1988 en behaalde zijn doctoraat (PhD) in 1993, gesteund met een beurs toegekend door het Fonds voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek – Vlaanderen (FWO). Benoemd als Postdoctoraal Onderzoeker bij the FWO heeft hij zijn onderzoek voortgezet aan de KU Leuven gedurende de volgende 6 jaren, waarbij bij ook onderzoek verrichtte gedurende 1 jaar in 1994 aan de ‘University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio’ en later ook gedurende 3 maanden aan de ‘University of Missouri-Kansas City’, beide in de VSA. In 1995, werd Dr. Van Meerbeek benoemd als voltijds Docent aan de KU Leuven en doceert sinds dan o.a. ‘Directe restauratieve biomaterialen’ en ‘Indirecte restauratieve biomaterialen’. In 1998 werd hij bevorderd tot voltijds Hoofddocent. Van 2000 tot 2010 werd hij aangesteld als onderzoeksprofessor (Bof-ZAP) aan de KU Leuven met voornamelijk een onderzoeksopdracht en een beperkte onderwijstaak. Hij lag toen aan de basis van de oprichting van de BIOMAT onderzoeksgroep aan de KU Leuven, waarbij hij momenteel fungeert als het hoofd van een team van ongeveer 20 PhD en postdoctorale onderzoekers. In 2002 en 2005 werd Dr. Van Meerbeek bevorderd tot Hoogleraar en Gewoon Hoogleraar. Parallel met zijn KU Leuven aanstelling werd hij ook aangesteld aan UZ Leuven, dit als Adjunct Afdelingshoofd sinds 2004 en momenteel als Afdelingshoofd sinds 2009. Zijn primaire onderzoeksinteresse gaat uit naar studies gerelateerd aan het brede domein van de adhesieve tandheelkunde en de dentale adhesieve technologie in het bijzonder. Nieuwere onderzoekslijnen betreffen dentaal keramiek, waaronder zirconium, cariogeniciteit en biocompatibiliteit van dentale materialen, bioactieve materialen en materiaaltechnologie ter behoud van de pulpavitaliteit. Zijn onderzoekswerk resulteerde in meer dan 350 nationale en internationale ‘peer-reviewed papers’ en werd gehonoreerd met wetenschappelijke prijzen, zoals de ‘triennial Robert Stock award for Biomedical Sciences’ in 1996, de ‘Albert Joachim Award’ in 1997, de ‘Award in Biomedical Sciences of the Research Council of KU Leuven’ in 1998, de ‘IADR Young Research Award’ in 2000, de ‘SmithKline Beecham award’ in 2001, de ‘Academy of Operative Dentistry Buonocore Memorial Lecturer’ in 2003, de 2014 ‘IADR/AADR William J. Gies Award’ voor de beste publicatie in het dentaal top-tijdschrift ‘Journal of Dental Research’ (categorie ‘Biomaterials & Bioengineering Research’), en de 2015 ‘IADR Wilmer Souder Award’ (Dental Materials). Dr. Andy Temmerman graduated, cum laude, as a dentist (DDS) in 2007 at the University of Ghent in Belgium. In the same year he started the post-graduate education in Periodontology at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. In 2010 he graduated as an ‘EFP certified’ periodontologist (MSc). Since 2009 he works in a private clinic (ParoPlus, Aalst). This clinic focusses totally on periodontology and implant dentistry, together with his collegues Stefan Matthijs and Drs. Maarten Glibert. He beheld his connection to the KU Leuven as a clinical consultant. In 2011 he decided to start research projects in a PhD projects with promotor Prof. Dr. Marc Quirynen and co-promotors Prof. Dr. Joke Duyck & Prof. Dr. Reinhilde Jacobs. This research focusses on the placement of oral implants in patients with impaired bone quality and bone quantity. In May 2017 he defended his PhD thesis. At present he is responsible for the seminars scientific reading for the post-graduate students Periodontology. Furthermore, he is still is active at the KU Leuven as a clinical and scientific consultant, focussing on enhanced research of L-PRF, GBR procedures and sinus augmentation procedures.
Dr. Temmerman frequently lectures in Belgium and outside Belgium.
He is co(authors) of 20+ scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals. He functions as a referee for the journals: “Journal of Clinical Periodontology”, “Clinical Oral Implants Research”, Clinical Implant Dentistry & Related Research” and “Clinical Oral Investigations”. In 2015 he received the price for “best Abstract” during the EAO meeting in Rome. Also in 2016, he received the price for best presentation during the EAO meeting Stockholm.
